Cozy in Kern

Sometimes New Year celebrations are best spent with just some good friends rather than with a bunch of sweaty smelly strangers at bars and clubs. Our friends, Jesse & Melissa, invited Eddie and I to ring in the New Year away from the city at their beautiful cabin up in Kern. We had a fun and cozy little celebration this year where I ended the night passed out on the couch with a glass of champagne in my hand and my legs resting on top of Blue the pup hahaha.

I stayed warm and cozy in my new favorite Nightcap cashmere and wool poncho sweater with fringe detailing while at the cabin. It's made with an attached scarf (which really came in handy because I was freezing up in the mountains). Although this sweater is a huge splurge item, I know that I'll be wearing this baby for many many years to come.

Sorry for being so late, but Happy New Year to you all! I hope everyone had a blast and is starting their year off on the right foot!
