Some of my favorite things about the holidays are: Candy Cane Joe Joe's from Trader Joe's, peppermint hot chocolates, delicious baked goods, Christmas music, pretty lights & decorations, and of course....Christmas trees!

I thought it was only appropriate to dress myself in green from head to heels for something as festive and fun as searching for the perfect Christmas tree. I layered my green anorak over a long sleeve linen tee and paired it with leggings, knee-high socks, and a pair bright green boots.

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas now!!!! And I can't wait to celebrate with my family and friends! :)

You're Campin' My Style

The simple joys of life are sometimes forgotten because of our hectic and fast paced lifestyles. Soooo Eddie and I take these awesome camping trips with our fun outdoorsy friends to get in touch with nature and just have some fun. There really is nothing like spending quality time together without the distractions of (too much) technology while we're out in the middle of nowhere.

We took a 5-day off road trip traveling over 500 miles through the dirt to the Grand Canyon and back. We kicked off the trip by meeting 15 of our friends in Barstow to fuel up our bellies and our vehicles and then we hit the road. We traveled to Ludlow, Laughlin, the Grand Canyon, Lake Mead, the Hoover Dam, Primm, and back to Barstow all in 5 days and all through the dirt. Hope y'all enjoy my photo diary.
