Tiny Dancer

Black Silk Dress: Joe's Jeans 'Dorian' Dress (here)
Heels: Banana Republic 'Gayle Zip-Strap Pump' in deep chestnut (here)
Clutch: Valentino
Bracelet: Torchlight Jewelry

I took ballet & figure skating classes for awhile when I was a kid, but I quit them both when I realized I wasn't any good at being elegant or feminine. I eventually came to terms with the fact that I was never going to be graceful or coordinated enough to be the amazing dancer I always dreamed of becoming. But hey...that hasn't stopped me from at least faking it. Plus, my signature top knot helps "ballerina-ize" any outfit lol.

Belt It Out

Maxi Dress: Black Swan "Silver Soul Maxi Dress" here
Heels: Jeffrey Campbell "Hough"
Belt: Express
Necklace: Vanessa Mooney
Bracelets: Vanessa Mooney & Luv AJ
Clutch: Vintage
In my opinion, belts can almost always upgrade an outfit! This skinny black leather belt really completed my whole look! Before I accessorized and added the belt, this dress looked like a massively oversized and colorful potato sack...which did NOTHING for my figure. But by adding the belt, I instantly appeared thinner and taller.  Because it accentuated my waist and broke up my upper and lower body, my waist appeared smaller and my legs appeared longer. Try out this quick and easy tip and see what a huge difference it can make for you too!

See how unflattering this dress is on these gorgeous models when styled without a belt: here!!!!

Hello Yellow

Yellow Cotton Tweed Dress: Zara (here)
Necklace & Bracelets: Vanessa Mooney
Clutch: Monserat de Lucca (similar here)
Heels: Ted Baker London (similar here)
It's definitely been awhile since my boyfriend and I have had the chance to spend the whole weekend together due to his hectic work schedule. So when we found out that he had both Saturday and Sunday off, we started thinking of ways to take advantage of this rare occasion. We began both days with delicious brunches at places we've been wanting to try and then we ran some errands, went on a bike ride, and went to our friend's birthday celebration on Saturday. Sunday was the perfect lazy day for us to just sit back and enjoy each other's company. We pretty much spent the whole day lounging around after brunch while curled up on the couch as we watched Shark Tank together.

Printed Perfect

Blouse: Reformation (other styles here)
Printed Shorts: Angel Biba (LF stores)
Lucite Heeled Shoes: Jeffrey Campbell
Necklace & Leather Bracelet: Jenny Bird
Black Studded Clutch: Monserat De Lucca (other styles here)
Rings: Torchlight Jewelry (other styles here) & Vintage
Make some noise with powerful prints like these black & white, lace trimmed printed shorts from LF stores! There's nothing like spicing up a simple outfit with the perfect printed focal piece! When I style a statement piece like this, I try to stick with basics for the rest of my look. I paired my shorts with a simple mustard yellow silk blouse from Reformation, and finished off the look with some strappy heeled sandals and an oversized clutch.

The key to this outfit is making sure the proportions were right in order to really pull the whole look together. I generally like to pair long sleeves with short shorts and short sleeves with pants because I'm naturally a creature of balance, which I blame on the fact that I'm a Libra haha. Too much of anything isn't good and showing off too much skin is usually no exception...the exception being it's acceptable in my book when the temps have been reaching upwards of 110 degrees everyday! (Currently breaking my own rule of thumb as I'm writing this! lol)

Urban Ninja

Leather Jacket: J.A.C.H.S Girlfriend
"Fuck Forever" Sweater: Reformation x Baron Von Fancy Collaboration
Pants: Romeo & Juliet Couture
Booties: Dolce Vita
Clutch: Valentino
This all black ensemble makes me feel like some sort of urban ninja just ready to kick some butt lol. I simply transformed my outfit from daytime to nighttime by slipping my flats off, slipping my badass booties on, and layering on a leather jacket. The jacket was just the touch needed to pull the boyish & badass look together because it added an extra toughness to the look.
